NOVUS Glass Cooks for Kids at the Ronald McDonald House in Minneapolis Children’s Hospital

August 7, 2019

St. Paul, MN – August 7th, 2019 — The NOVUS corporate team, based out of St. Paul, MN volunteered at The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the Minneapolis Children’s hospital on Wednesday, August 7, 2019.  They prepared and served lunch for families with children being treated in the hospital’s intensive care units. Team members came together to serve a chicken fajita meal, with dessert and beverages to over 40 RMHC family members and staff.   In addition to serving lunch, the NOVUS team prepared meals for an additional 100 people to be froze and served at a future dinner.

This summer NOVUS also ran a Wish List drive for the local Ronald McDonald House Chapters. Paper products, nonperishable food, and more were donated by the NOVUS office staff.  Wish List donations are a very important part in keeping the RMHC operating.  Only through the support of volunteers and donations can the RMHC provide families a place to stay, completely free of charge while their children are in the hospital.  And most importantly meeting the goal of keeping families together.

NOVUS employees were beyond humbled to have the opportunity to cook and serve families in need and support such an amazing organization. For ways you can help or for more information on the Ronald McDonald House Charities, visit https://www.rmhc.org/ to find a local house near you.
