NOVUS Glass Locations Come Together To Give Back To The Ronald Mcdonald House Charities
Bowie, MD – This weekend NOVUS Glass of Bowie, MD; Hagerstown, MD and Colt’s Neck NJ, held a Windshield Repair Day Fundraiser in support of the Greater Washington, DC Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
After learning, this past Spring at the NOVUS Glass conference, how RMHC helps ease the hardships of children’s illness on families, the Northeastern NOVUS locations wanted to find a way that they could help. Working together they planned the NOVUS repair day, shared it with their community and even provided Kona Ice as a refreshment for the hot day. Donating not only their time and resources, The NOVUS Northeastern locations also gave 100% of their windshield repair proceeds from the fundraiser to their local RMHC. “We wanted to give back to our community,” stated NOVUS Glass of Bowie, MD Owner Derek Covington, “It was also important to us to a support a charity that makes a difference in so many lives.”
The NOVUS Repair Day in Maryland is one of the many ways NOVUS is focused on supporting RMHC nationwide this year. “We are proud to be partnering with The Ronald McDonald House Charities throughout the country to help families stay together during a difficult time in their lives,” said Ted Andersen, VP of Operations – NOVUS North America, “We are committed to continue to work on new fundraising efforts to ensure the families in our local communities are receiving the support they need.”
